What Are Alternatives To Google
Today, most searches on the Internet are performed through Google. The market share of Google is more than 80% in many countries. But who is its biggest competition today? What are your options when searching for information online? We'll discuss the strengths, as well as the weak points of two other search engines. Find out more for an example.

Microsoft's Bing Search Engine
Microsoft's Bing Search Engine is perhaps the most popular alternative to Google. The search engines look very alike from a visual point of view. Their results from search engines include details about each result (a title and the description) and the link to the results itself. Some searches include an area on the right of the navigation pane, which includes information that are interesting. Bing also offers vertical search engines, which can be used to search for news, images, or videos. They can appear in the main search engine results, and on separate pages. Google has been criticized for displaying YouTube videos in prominent positions during video searches. But, this is not a problem for Bing. Similar to Google, Bing also analyses user behaviour, by persisting data about their searches and the results they click on. This lets Bing, to directly serve customized advertisements on its search result pages. Bing can also display personalized ads within Windows.

Duckduckgo Search Engine
DuckDuckGo searches are another option to Google. The DuckDuckGo search engine performs the search automatically when you make a request. DuckDuckGo is then able to receive the results of Bing and serves them to you in your browser. This engine will not make direct contact with you. Bing won't be able to access any personal information about you like your IP address or geographical place of residence. DuckDuckDuckGo will also display ads within its search results. The US search engine doesn't collect any information about users thus it's not able to serve targeted ads. The search engine will only return ads about keywords or phrases that match the phrase "holidays". Because it's already made a decision not to make use of the data, it will not have any other information. Bing and Google are, in our opinion, very identical. Which one you prefer over the other is up to individual preferences. We love DuckDuckGo because it's easier to remain genuinely anonymous.
